Our Commitment To The Environment

Nancy Loves are committed to ensuring we do all we can to create a balanced, sustainable environment. As a result we are continually reviewing our stocked items, manufacturing processes and working practices to limit our impact on the planet.

Our popular Bubble Balloon range are made from Polypropylene, and is widely recycled in the UK. Unlike many plastics it does not give off harmful gases if burnt. Our Bubbles typically stay looking great for 10-14 days but can last far longer in ideal conditions. When you have finished enjoying them, please help us by recycling responsibly.

Our latex balloons are made of the finest quality balloon grade latex. Latex is collected from the sap of the rubber tree meaning it is a natural product that doesn't require the felling of trees, rubber trees produce quality sap for around 30 years. This means that not only does nature help create our beautiful balloons but all our latex balloons are fully biodegradable in as little as 6 months.

All of the tissues used in our packaging and tails are made from 100% recycled material where possible and can be further recycled after disposal.

Our timber products are all made using certified sustainable timber. We mill this in house to ensure quality. As a result we can manage the waste material effectively. Our wood chippings are commonly used in garden mulching or composting.

Our choice of oak is the highly sustainable American white oak. This is the second fasted growing hardwood resource. The annual growth rate of American white oak is currently surpassing harvest by 70%.
